NABOLY makes more than fifty sandals across men’s, women’s and children’s ranges, and almost all of them are a variation on three shapes. Once you know which shape you want, choosing a model is easy.

The fisherman sandal
An interwoven leather upper that covers the toes, usually with a closed or half-closed back. It is the most protective shape we make.
- Good at: long days on your feet, rough ground, anywhere you want air without exposing your toes.
- Fits: closest to a shoe. Take your usual EU size.
- Look at: the fisherman sandals — models 80 to 88, and 104 to 106.
The toe-loop sandal
A loop around the second toe anchors the foot, with one or more straps across the instep. This is the shape Hebron is known for, and the one we make the most of.
- Good at: hot weather, all-day wear, going on and off easily.
- Fits: the loop holds the foot forward, so there is less heel slip than you would expect. If you are between sizes, take the larger one.
- Look at: sandals and slip-ons — models 109 to 148 cover most of the variations, from plain to cut-out and buckle-trimmed.
The slide
One or more wide straps across the foot, nothing between the toes, nothing at the back. The quickest on and off.
- Good at: indoors, the mosque, the school run, the ten minutes between the house and the car.
- Fits: the loosest of the three. A slide should hold the foot without gripping; if your toes are curling to keep it on, it is too big.
- Look at: models 55, 60 and 65, and the strap slides in the women’s range.
How to choose between them
- Working outdoors? Fisherman. The toe coverage is the whole point.
- Wearing them all summer, every day? Toe-loop. It is the shape that holds the foot best over long hours.
- Mostly indoors and in and out? Slide.
- Buying for a child? Adjustable fastenings matter more than the shape — see kids’ sandals.
A note on sizing across the three
They do not fit identically. A fisherman sandal in EU 43 and a slide in EU 43 will feel different, because one is built around a closed last and the other is not. If you are moving between shapes, the EU sizing guide is worth two minutes.
And remember: not every color is made in every size. The size menu on each product page shows what is actually available for the color you have picked.
Buying more than one pair
Shops usually stock all three shapes, weighted toward toe-loop. If you are putting together a first order, the wholesale guide covers size runs and color breakdowns, and the catalog shows every model we make in one place.
